My friends call me Shaukat (Shock-it). I act, write, and produce.

Some specs: I have an MFA in Acting from the Yale School of Drama. I’m a mixed kid, born in nyc — mom’s Eastern European Jewish, dad’s South Asian Muslim. I played baseball and football for Carleton College where I majored in Philosophy and concentrated on Middle Eastern Studies.

Drama, Comedy, Theater, Film, Television — all of it. Even a musical sprinkled here and there.
